Happy japanese lunchy!

>>>>I just found out about the "Bento Diet". Now, I'm not one for fad diets like let's say "The Atkins Diet", but this one seems to fit my imagination/lifestyle quite well!

From Wiki: ""Bento is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine.""
***A traditional bento consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables as a side dish.

***Although bento are easily available in many places throughout Japan, including convenience stores, bento shops (弁当屋), train stations, and department stores, it is still common for Japanese homemakers to spend considerable time and energy producing an appealing boxed lunch.

And on and on. Who knew? There is even Bento TV. Plus a whole Bento community for people who want to receive constructive feedback on their bento boxes to perfect their Japanese lunch box skills and artistry. Wow. I had no idea.
